  1.  “Will /Would you please write a letter for me?”

“Sure” 

         (or)  

   “I am sorry. I am busy now.”

 

2.  “Would you show me the way to the bus station?”

3.  “Would you mind checking this cable for me?”


“No, not at all.” 

               (or)

       "I am sorry. I can't."

To express an offer (Would you like + Nown)

1. "Will you have a cigarette?" (or)
"Would you like a cigarette?"

     "Yes, please / Yes, thank you."

                       (or)

      "No, thank you."

 

2. "Would you like another cup of tea?"

     "Yes, please / Yes, thank you."

                      (or)


      "No, thank you."

 

3. "Would you like something to drink?"

     "Yes, thank you. Coffee, please"

                       (or)

      "No, thank you."


4. "Anything to drink?"

     "Just a class of water, please."

      "No, thank you."

 

5. "What would you like?"

     "I'd like some tea, please."

                       (or)
